Zulu princess allegedly receives RDP home meant for married people

Now, how she acquired the house is being scrutinised.

According to reports, the house was meant to be a show house for a R64m project.

Apparently 1 000 poor people are set to benefit from the project.

The homes boast two bedrooms, an open-plan lounge and kitchen, a bathroom and an outside water tank.

Each house cost about R130 000 to build.

The houses are supposed to be given to married people, or people with dependents.

Zulu said the houses were being built on palace grounds.

It’s believed King Goodwill Zwelithini wants to keep a watchful eye on the project.

He hopes by keeping an eye on the construction, it will better the quality of RDP houses.

She said this would be borderline corruption.
