Good Things Guy reported that Kloos' path to success was a very rocky one though.

She battled depression as a teenager since being diagnosed with it at the age of 17.

As she started to overcome the depression, she then struggled to deal with issues of anxiety.

Kloos described the feeling at the summit as an “electric energy pulse” coursing through her body.

She made the bold decision to quit her corporate job, cashed in her savings and started climbing full-time.

Nearly R400 000 has been raised for the childrens community centre thanks to her efforts.
