The University of Cape Town honors the late Chris Hani by naming a building after him

April 10, marks the anniversary of the assassination of Chris Hani.

The ceremony of the official renaming, will be held on April 25.

Deputy Minister of Public Works, Jeremy Cronin, is to give the keynote address.

Hanis family will be in attendance.

Nombuso Shabalala, UCT spokesperson, said the institution regards the renaming of the building as a historic moment.
