SABC 3's 'Top Billing' gets the chop after 23 years on Mzansi's screens

However, as the SABC struggles to keep itself standing, it has decided to cancel the show.

Top Billingfans are devastated and upset - they feel like it is ‘the end of an era’.

The final episode will be aired on Saturday, 19 October and it will be a nostalgic one.

Apparently, re-runs of the show will be aired until 2020.
