Hailing from Calais in Limpopo, he remains determined to stay grounded in spite of his recent success.
A sign of his humility is that he intends to donate R25 000 of his winnings to charity.
He says, “I don’t have a girlfriend.
I’m always with majita that I grew up with.
We go to parks and resorts and have a good time.
Master KGs hit song, Skeleton Move, gave him plenty of reason to celebrate though.
The house track earned him the Best Dance award at the Limpopo Music Awards.
However, things werent this rosy a few years ago when he started making music in 2013.
Master KG initially played at taverns and only received 20% of the proceeds.
