Mhlongo set a new World T44 record of 11 seconds and won a silver medal.

The world record is for the T44 race & the silver was for T64.

This means he is classified as a T44 athlete that ran in a T64 race.

Social media users congratulated him on a job well done.

The young lady led the womens 400m, breaking a new record.

Weyers finished the race in a time of 55.79.

The South African government’s Facebook account congratulated her.
