Tributes have poured in for the struggle veteran Winnie Madikizela-Mandela.
Her memorial service was held at in Soweto on Wednesday.
Grandson Bambatha Mandela said that his mother was a guiding light in his life and made a huge impact.
The service was held in Orlando Stadium in the township she called home.
The Soweto Gospel Choir provided musical entertainment and ensured a proper send off for the struggle veteran.
The 40,000-seater stadium was fulled to capacity and several overflow areas were needed to handle the huge crowds.
