Njabulo sold russians, fish and chips on a street corner near schools for a living.

It wasn’t a bad way to earn money, she earned about R400 a day, according toW24.

However, that wasn’t fulfilling and she soon pursued agriculture.

That did not go as planned.

However, she didn’t give up.

In 2017, Njabulo got herself a learnership and studied at Peritum Agri Institute.

Then she got to partner with Mr Ntuli.

They started with 15 hectares.

Briefly.co.zagathered that she now gives work to 15 people and wants to grow her farms.

She manages to make about 6 tonnes of maize per hectare.

The inspiring young woman also won the SAB Young Emerging Farmer of the Year Award for 2019.
