Election 2019: Votes counted, IEC to make official announcement later

The IEC has announced that all votes have been counted and the ANC is in the lead with more than 57% of the votes. An official announcement will be made by the IEC at 6pm

The ANC got 57.51% of the votes, for a total of just over 10 million votes.

Third is the EFF with 10.79% for just over 1.8 million votes.

There were 235 449 spoilt votes, while the ACDP received 146 000 votes.
