He was then gifted a Portuguese water dog by the late Senator Ted Kennedy whom they named Bo.
They also adopted another dog of a similar breed in 2013 and they called him Sunny.
The Clintons had Buddy, a Labrador retriever, chocolate in color and a cat called Socks.
