The SA Music Awards (SAMAs) have responded to criticism fromCassper Nyovest.
The rapper claimed that the awards organization was corrupt.

In a statement shared withTshisaLive, the Samas slammed Casspers claims.
SAMAs spokesperson Lesley Mofokeng told the publication that their judging systems were proven to be resilient and with integrity.
He went on to say that the awards were still relevant and received a lot of entries.

The spokespersondenies the allegationsof corruption and urged those who have any evidence of such crimes to come forward.
His submission of the track Doc Shebeleza did not even earn him a nomination.
The disgruntled rapper swore to stop submitting any music to them from there on.
