He went to see Pastor Mboro who reportedly prayed for him for three days.
He took to Instagram to share that he believes Jesus healed him.
He treated himself at home with home remedies and medication which was prepared for him by his wife.
His passing left fans, family and friends -including DJ Fresh - mourning.
Video footage has now been shared on Twitter showing mourners dancing at Papers 707’s funeral.
Social media users had mixed reactions to the footage.
Some felt it was disrespectful while others believed that DJ Papers would have wanted it that way.
