The 61-year-old is set to join Mosimane as Al Ahly’s new assistant coach.
Mosimane released an official statement on Monday, confirming Johnson’s recruitment.
He was quoted saying:
Johnson formerly coached SuperSport United Platinum Stars and AmaZulu.

His new venture comes very shortly after he led Mamelodi Sundowns to victory during the Premier Soccer League games.
He also joked that he had found a hospital ward there, asking people to pray for him.
