On 5 January 2017 both men were released on parole after serving only four-years in jail.
According to an interview with Sunday Sun, Ranaka went to the girls home to apologize to her family.
However, on 24 November 2017 after an appeal by that state, Pistorius sentence was increased to 13-years.
Tokollo Tshabalala
Tshabalala got into trouble with Botswana authorities after he sped and ran over a stop sign.
When cops tried to stop him, he drove away and tried to overtake another car.
However, he misjudged oncoming traffic and ended up getting involved in a head on head collision.
The driver in the other car, business woman Maria Monyatsi, did not survive the crash.
This led to Tshabalala being charged with culpable homicide, and Botswana authorities wanted SA to extradite him.
When the SA authorities received assurances that Tshabalala would not be executed, he agreed to return.
He was acquitted of all charges later on.
Judith Sephuma
Sephuma hit a 79-year-old pensioner on 29 January 2013 in Mofolo, Soweto.
Sadly, the elderly lady died hours after receiving medical car.
